DESCRIPTION:SAPCC Presents: Special Education Basics Workshop for Caregivers \nJoin us for an interactive VIRTUAL workshop led by Alexis Palmer\, Child Integrated Service Developmental Educator\, designed to help caregivers navigate the world of special education. \nIn this session\, you’ll: \n\nLearn the basics of parental rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)\nUnderstand the IEP process and the roles of each IEP team member\nGain tools to communicate effectively with educators and service providers\nLearn key special education terms to build your confidence in meetings\n\n**Each participant who registers by November 14\, 2025\, will receive an IEP binder mailed to them prior to the workshop.\nRegistration will remain open until November 30\, 2025; however\, participants who register after November 14 may receive their binder after the workshop.
