The Potty Journey
Springfield Town Library
Springfield, VT 05156 United States
Please join Alexis Palmer, Developmental Educator from the Springfield Area Parent Child Center, at the Springfield Town Library on Tuesday, June 2nd from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM for The Potty Journey, inspired by the book by Judith A. Coucouvanis.
Feeling overwhelmed by potty training advice? You’re not alone! Come learn practical, step-by-step toilet training strategies for children with special needs, autism, or any child struggling with the potty-training process.
This workshop is designed to help caregivers feel supported, confident, and less stressed during this challenging stage of parenting. The training includes helpful visuals, routines, data sheets, and real-life applications caregivers can use at home. No verbal language or specific developmental milestones are required to begin.
Take what works for your child and family — and leave what doesn’t!
Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their little ones to the library and enjoy a fun morning with SAPCC staff on site. At 10:00 AM, Children’s Librarian Micah will share a special story about potty learning to help introduce and support the theme of our Parent Education topic.
Open to all at no cost
