Cook with Me, Little Hands in the Kitchen

Please join SAPCC staff, Christine DeMasi and Meg Minehan at the Rockingham Library to explore cooking with your child.

Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

What to expect: We will be cooking up some simple snacks where your kiddo can help out! You will go home with a book to read with your child, as well as a small cookbook of foods you and your child can make at home!

Did you know that with following a recipe you model literacy, counting, measuring, and it’s a great time to bond together!

Have a picky eater? Did you know that allowing kids to help in meal preparation encourages eating different foods? It’s a great way to explore some new foods together and get more comfortable touching, smelling, and maybe even tasting new foods!
