How To Talk So Little Kids Will Listen

Join us for an interactive, skills-based workshop hosted by mental health clinician Dominique Rondeau and Family Engagement Specialist Krista Wilson, based on the book How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk by Joanna Faber and Julie King.

This workshop will introduce practical communication tools and structured strategies to help caregivers:

• Use effective, respectful communication to foster cooperation and connection with young children (ages 2–7)
• Resolve conflicts more effectively by using problem-solving strategies instead of punishment
• Support children’s emotional regulation by acknowledging and validating their feelings
• Strengthen parent–child relationships through respectful, empathetic communication
