SAPCC Presents: Special Education Basics Workshop for Caregivers

Join us for an interactive VIRTUAL workshop led by Alexis Palmer, Child Integrated Service Developmental Educator, designed to help caregivers navigate the world of special education.

In this session, you’ll:

• Learn the basics of parental rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
• Understand the IEP process and the roles of each IEP team member
• Gain tools to communicate effectively with educators and service providers
• Learn key special education terms to build your confidence in meetings

**Each participant who registers by November 14, 2025, will receive an IEP binder mailed to them prior to the workshop.
Registration will remain open until November 30, 2025; however, participants who register after November 14 may receive their binder after the workshop. A binder will still be mailed to all registered participants.
