Duck Run – 2025

Have some family fun at our SAPCC Duck Run – 2025 Running of the Rubber Ducks! FREE ADMISSION

Come enjoy our family block party on June 28, 4-7PM. Music, food vendors, bounce house, foam cannon, water slide, resources, raffles, and more!

This event is a fundraiser for the Springfield Area Parent Child Center. There is no cost to attend the event and to have fun with all the entertainment provided, and attendees are encouraged to sponsor ducks to race by clicking on the link below!

There will be yummy food and ice cream from JC’s Market & Deli and refreshing beverages from T’s Boba Tea Pop Up Shop available for purchase. There will be amazing basket raffles. We have an ATM on site for food, raffle tickets, and sponsoring ducks.

Watch hundreds of rubber ducks race down the Black River during the “duck run” at 6PM. Sponsor rubber ducks for $5 each to race for a chance to win cash and prizes up to $200!!! All proceeds from ducks and raffles go towards strengthening our services for children and caregivers in Southern Windsor and Northern Windham Counties.

Accessibility and other event info:

-Service dogs only, please

-Please bring water and sunscreen with you!

-This event will be outdoors and is wheelchair accessible with some uneven terrain, with limited accessibility parking available near our main building.

-Our Workforce Training & Development Center will be a wheelchair accessible, air-conditioned, indoor space available for access to stop and rest. Please speak quietly and leave the lights dimmed when inside so it can be a sensory-friendly space

-Our restrooms are also available in this building

-If you have any dietary restrictions, please bring sufficient snacks and drinks with you

-If you need to pump or breastfeed/chestfeed, please visit the SAPCC Info Booth for options

-If using the foam cannon, we encourage you to bring a swimsuit/change of clothing with you and towels. Please know we only have two restrooms available for this event and there might be a wait.

-There will be chairs throughout the event area for anyone who has to stop and rest. Please leave these chairs for those needing them
