Early Childhood Day at the Legislature

Some of our staff traveled to Montpelier last week to attend Early Childhood Day at the Legislature, organized by the Vermont Early Childhood Advocacy Alliance. This annual event brings together educators, parents, and advocates from across the state to connect with lawmakers and speak up for Vermont’s youngest children.
Throughout the day, participants attended workshops, met with legislators, and supported the 2026 early childhood legislative agenda—focused on strengthening the early childhood workforce and improving access to child care for families.
We were also grateful for the opportunity to connect with Representatives Kristi Morris, Alice Emmons, and John Bartholomew to talk about the importance of supporting children, families, and early childhood professionals in our community.
We’re proud to be part of the conversation and to advocate for strong supports for families in our region. ![]()
