Early Intervention Services – CIS Nurse

💡 Did You Know? SAPCC Has a CIS Nurse!

At the Springfield Area Parent Child Center, our Children’s Intervention Services (CIS) Nurse provides valuable support for families and caregivers in our community — even during pregnancy! Families can connect with our CIS Nurse for support before baby arrives, including answering questions, discussing birthing plans, and preparing for the transition into parenthood.

Services also include developmental screenings, health assessments for infants and young children, guidance on growth, behavior, and developmental milestones, and personalized parent education.

Our CIS Nurse offers lactation consulting and breastfeeding/chestfeeding support, along with one-on-one guidance tailored to each family’s unique needs. Through home visits and family-centered care, families can receive support in a comfortable environment while also being connected to additional community resources and services. ❤️
