Employee Spotlight – Kayla Bapp

⭐EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT⭐
Kayla Bapp
PCC Coordinator and Development Assistant

I’ve been part of the Parent Child Center for 8 years, starting my journey as a teacher in PlayWorks and transitioning into my current role as PCC Coordinator and Development Assistant over the past 4 years.

In my role, I facilitate playgroups and parent education classes, and coordinate programs like our diaper and formula banks, Adventure Together, and more. I’m also a certified Car Seat Technician, where I support caregivers by providing car seat safety education and helping families access age-appropriate car seats for their children.

On the development side, I help coordinate fundraising events, write and apply for grants, and support community outreach and advocacy efforts.

What I love most about my work is the meaningful connections I get to build every day with families in our community. For many, it can feel intimidating to attend a playgroup, meet other parents, join a class, or ask for help. I’m grateful to be someone families can turn to—a safe, welcoming presence where they feel supported and heard. 💛
