Meaghan Wilson
CIS Speech-Language Pathologist
This June marks 10 years with SAPCC. ![]()
As a speech-language pathologist on the CIS early intervention team, I work with children from birth to age three who have developmental delays or disabilities. I support caregivers in learning how to help their children during everyday routines and activities. I collaborate closely with families, child care providers, medical providers, and our early intervention team to complete evaluations, develop goals and strategies, problem-solve challenges, and celebrate successes. While my specialty is communication skills, early intervention takes a whole-child approach—recognizing how play, social-emotional development, motor skills, and feeding and independence are all interconnected within the context of a child’s family and environment.
What I love most about my work is building relationships with the families and children I serve. I am inspired by their stories, honored to support them through difficult moments, and grateful to witness their growth and progress. And, as an added bonus, I get to spend my days playing with toys and toddlers!
