⭐Meg Minehan – Parents as Teachers Coordinator

🌟I’ve been with SAPCC for just over two years now, and I serve as the Parents as Teachers (PAT) Coordinator. PAT is a voluntary home-visiting program that supports families in helping their children reach their full potential.
✨During my visits, I focus on parent-child interactions, child development, family well-being, and connecting families to community resources. Each visit is guided by the interests and needs of the family — we might talk about bedtime routines, positive discipline strategies, or even potty training!
✨I also get to plan and facilitate community programs like family literacy workshops and seasonal nature-based activities, which are always so much fun.
💕What I love most about my work is connecting with families. Parenting is such hard work, and I’m continually inspired by how families persevere to support their children. I love partnering with parents and caregivers so they can parent with love and intention. 💚
